Decision Respecting Certain Waterproof Footwear and Waterproof Footwear Bottoms

Decision

On July 17, 2002, pursuant to paragraph 39(1)(a) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Commissioner of Customs and Revenue extended to 135 days the time period for rendering the preliminary decision respecting the alleged injurious dumping into Canada of certain waterproof footwear and waterproof footwear bottoms, constructed wholly or in part of rubber or plastic, worn over the foot or shoe, originating in or exported from Hong Kong, China; Macao, China; and Vietnam. Consequently, the preliminary decision by the Commissioner of Customs and Revenue will be made on or before September 9, 2002.
