Certain Stainless Steel Wire - Notice of Preliminary determination and Partial termination.

Ottawa, April 2, 2004

On April 2, 2004, the President of the Canada Border Services Agency made a preliminary determination of dumping respecting certain stainless steel wire originating in or exported from the Republic of Korea, Switzerland, and the United States of America, and a preliminary determination of subsidizing respecting such product originating in or exported from India, pursuant to subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act. Provisional duty will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after April 2, 2004. On the same date, the President terminated the dumping investigation of such product originating in or exported from Chinese Taipei and India, pursuant to paragraph 35(2)(a) of SIMA.
